When she launched her business 25 years ago, Raheni biked from village to village, selling homemade porridge and desserts. But like many women entrepreneurs, she struggled to earn enough to be financially secure, juggling long hours with supporting her two young daughters.
With a small business loan from Accion partner Amartha, Raheni could access much-needed working capital, and no longer struggles to keep her kitchen stocked with ingredients and utensils.
