Leonardo Tibaquira serves as Director, Digital Strategy and Transformation, on the Accion Advisory team. He leads innovation and customer engagement projects using client-centered design and behavioral design methodologies. He oversees activities in market research, product development, communication and go to market strategies, digital transformation, distribution channels, and customer capabilities . He also manages projects that improve the value of products and services offered by various financial service providers in Latin America.
He has more than 20 years of marketing experience in the financial sector. Before joining Accion, Leonardo worked at Banco de Bogotá as the Head of Savings Products. He also held positions in distribution channels, cash management, and relationship marketing.
Leonardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a master’s degree in Strategic Marketing from CESA in Colombia, as well as diplomas from the MIT Sloan School of Management and others from the Universidad de la Sabana and Univerdidad de los Andes.
