Linda Ngcwangu is an Investment Officer, Africa, Accion Transformation Capital. In this role, Linda deploys capital and portfolio management in the financial services sector across Africa. Her duties include generating deal flow, building investor relationships, deal structuring and negotiations, and developing exit opportunities.

Linda has over 10 years of experience in financial services investing and advisory across sub-Saharan Africa, with the last four years focused on impact investing. Before joining Accion, Linda was a Senior Investment Professional at Arise BV, the largest Financial Services investor in sub-Saharan Africa, managing Tier I and II banks with operations spanning across several markets in East, West, Southern, and Central Africa.  She also worked on pipeline development and transaction execution for target and portfolio companies. Prior to joining Arise, Linda worked at Barclays Africa Group (Now Absa Group) in the Financial Institutions Groups (FIG) advisory team, providing M&A and other advisory services to the Group and external clients, covering East, West, and Southern Africa.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce in Financial Management Sciences from the University of Pretoria, majoring in Investment Management, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Business Management.
