Diego Torres is a Portfolio and Investments Associate, Accion Venture Lab, and is based in Washington, D.C. In his role, he works across Venture Lab’s investment and strategic portfolio support functions and contributes to thought leadership across the industry.

Previously, Diego worked with Angeles Ventures, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, and Goldman Sachs. At Goldman Sachs, he worked as a Legal Analyst, then as an Investment Banking Analyst. Diego then pivoted to DFC where he worked on fintech and project finance transactions. Most recently, Diego was a Venture Fellow at Angeles Ventures, engaged in sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management across a wide range of industries. 

Originally from Ecuador, Diego attended Georgetown University, receiving a BSFS in International Politics.
