Washington, DC, June 13, 2023 – Global nonprofit Accion today announced the appointment of Brandie Conforti as Chief Development Officer. Conforti will lead Accion’s resource mobilization team, building and stewarding innovative partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders to increase the impact of Accion’s work around the world.

Prior to rejoining Accion, Brandie served as Junior Achievement Worldwide’s inaugural Chief Development Officer reporting directly to the CEO of Junior Achievement’s global headquarters. She built Junior Achievement’s global fundraising function from the ground up, working across six regions and 115 countries to catalyze philanthropy and partnerships, raising over $20 million annually. Prior to Junior Achievement, Brandie served as the Vice President of Institutional Partnerships at Accion, the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Partners In Health, and the Executive Director of WorldBoston. She holds a bachelor’s in political science from the College of the Holy Cross.
