As Senior ESG and Risk Associate, Accion Impact Management, Nicole Bohannon helps advance responsible investing and sustainable finance. She supports the development, implementation, and oversight of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies across investment portfolios and organizational operations.

Nicole most recently worked as a Senior ESG Research Associate at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). She helped lead the specialty research team to publish thousands of yearly reports based on ESG risk factors, proxy voting, and sustainable investing. She led multi-year projects across teams to conduct quantitative and qualitative data analyses, assess companies’ relevant potential controversies and responsible business practices, and support client inquiries and priorities.

Nicole received her bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University in international affairs with concentrations in Europe, Eurasia, and Latin America. Nicole also holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from King’s College London Business School.
