Rahil Rangwala is a Managing Partner at Accion Venture Lab, where he is responsible for the overall strategy and success of the investment portfolio. Prior to Accion, Rahil was a Director at the Michael &amp; Susan Dell Foundation, where he was responsible for running the India office and defining the strategic direction of (and executing against) the foundation&#8217;s Livelihoods and Financial Inclusion portfolio involving equity, debt (AUM of $70M) and grants which impacted ~7M households and ~3M youth annually. He led the Foundation&#8217;s global investment committee, where he worked closely with the program teams on the diligence for investments in all geographies. He also represented the foundation on various boards and LP advisory committees. Rahil started his professional career at Bridgewater Associates, a global macro hedge fund.
Rahil has a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Texas in Austin and a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on International Development from New York University.
