As a Senior Portfolio and Investments Associate, Sarah engages with portfolio companies to identify barriers to growth and scopes & executes projects to address the areas of need. She also leads Venture Lab’s investment work in the Middle East and Pakistan, and is responsible for sourcing new opportunities, managing the regional portfolio, and developing investment theses.

Sarah graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with an MA in International Economics and International Development. While attending SAIS, Sarah worked as a Graduate Consultant for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Tamweelcom, an MFI based in Amman, Jordan. Prior to pursuing her Master’s, Sarah worked on the Business Development team at a mission-based digital media startup, The Dodo. There, Sarah managed relationships with external partners, spearheaded partner campaigns, and assisted in the launch of the company’s Spanish-language Facebook page. Sarah holds a BA in Middle East Studies and International Relations from Cornell University.
