Director, Media and Engagement

Our communications work aims to ensure Accion and our partners serve as demonstration models and a catalyst for a more inclusive world. As Director, Media and Engagement, Sarah drives Accion’s global media and engagement strategies. She works with partners to design and implement content partnerships and speaking engagements, expanding the influence of Accion’s experts at leading fintech and impact investment events. Sarah brings 15 years of experience developing strategic communications for organizations across the non-profit, education, and media sectors, including University of Maryland’s Office of International Affairs, the global health advocacy nonprofit Friends of the Global Fight, Harvard Law School, and The Washington Post. Sarah holds an MPM in Public Policy and BAs in Journalism and Art from the University of Maryland.
