Liza Curcio-Rudy is a Portfolio and Investments Associate, Accion Venture Lab. In this position, Liza supports and leads investments in early-stage fintech companies, guides our portfolio companies through strategic projects and engagement activities, and supports additional fund initiatives around gender lens investing and LP engagement. She is also responsible for the assessment of new investment opportunities and the development of investment theses, particularly in the US market. Most recently, Liza worked as a Senior Analyst with the New Orleans Bioinnovation Center, a non-profit venture capital fund and startup incubator that promotes economic development across Louisiana, as a Venture for America fellow. Liza graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Minor in Global Poverty.
