Edi is the Senior Research Specialist at the Center for Financial Inclusion. With a professional background in conducting business analytics and managing expansion strategies in financial services and the private sector, Edi supports the Center for Financial Inclusion by collecting and analyzing data on the funding flows for financial inclusion and analyzing data on fintech-related projects.
Before joining the Center for Financial Inclusion, from 2015 to 2020, Edi worked as a business development manager in the sporting goods industry. He managed horizontal expansion strategies and directed the international trade and marketing strategy for a major company in Albania. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a banking business specialist at National Commercial Bank (BKT), the biggest bank in Albania.
Edi holds a bachelor’s degree from the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) with double majors in economics and business administration. He speaks Albanian, English, and Italian.
