Boubacar Diallo

Boubacar Diallo brings more than 15 years of program design and project implementation and evaluation experience to Accion. He joins us from Plan International, where he was the Regional Household Economic Security Advisor in the West Africa Regional Office providing technical support to fourteen country offices in the areas of microfinance, youth employment, and economic strengthening programming. Prior to that, Boubacar worked at Catholic Relief Services as the Regional Technical Advisor, Microfinance and Director Mission Africa project, leading the support to six African microfinance associations in Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda to promote the concept of social performance management.

Boubacar holds a postgraduate degree in Economics from the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, a master’s degree in Community Development Policy and Practice from the University of New Hampshire and a master in Microfinance from the University of Bergamo in Italy.
