As a Young Professional on Accion’s Global Advisory Solutions team, Anifat Ibrahim participates in key advisory engagements in Africa, assists senior advisors in coordinating fieldwork for assignments, conducts market scans to analyze key trends, identify market opportunities, and assists in developing proposals for submission to prospective clients among other activities.
Prior to joining Accion, Anifat served as a research associate with Dun & Bradstreet Nigeria, developing special business reports and financial analysis. Anifat also worked as a Customer Insights Associate for Bridge International Academies, an education management social enterprise in Africa and Asia. In this role, she conducted market assessment and risk analysis for the establishment of primary schools across low-income communities in Lagos, Nigeria. Before that, Anifat worked as a private consultant for a financial inclusion project, conducting extensive fieldwork on the feasibility of agent banking across rural communities in Osun State, Nigeria.
Anifat holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Extension & Rural Sociology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). She has also completed courses in data visualization and Human-Centered Design.
