Washington, DC, May 4, 2021 – Global nonprofit Accion announced today the appointment of Nazanine Scheuer as Chief Development & Partnerships Officer. In this role, Nazanine will oversee Accion’s Resource Development with the objective of building and stewarding strategic, innovative partnerships across a broad portfolio of stakeholders to amplify Accion’s work.

Nazanine Scheuer brings to her role over 15 years of experience developing global strategic partnerships. Most recently, she led Save the Children’s Social Enterprise & Impact Ventures, managing a team focused on creating and launching revenue-generating, for-purpose business models. During her tenure, she developed innovative partnerships across the private sector, aligning with Save the Children’s mission-driven priorities to create a common platform of outcomes-driven programs. Nazanine started her career in the corporate world, working in the pharmaceuticals and food industries in the United States and Europe. She holds a bachelor’s degree from EPSCI, the International School of Business Administration of Groupe ESSEC in France, and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern Business School at New York University.
