Make a Gift of Securities
Accion welcomes tax-deductible contributions in the form of securities. This is a particularly powerful way to support our work by contributing appreciated assets without incurring capital gains taxes.
Shares Held in an Account
You will need to instruct your broker or banker about your wish to give securities to Accion. Specify the type of stock, the number of shares that you are donating, and the date by which the gift should be transferred. In order for your broker or banker to transfer the securities electronically,they will need the following information:

Shares Held in Certificate Form
Sign the back of the certificate in the name(s) as they appear on the front. To limit liability, please insert or print “RBC Correspondent Services,” as the appointed “Attorney.”
Draft a brief letter authorizing Accion International as the recipient of the transferred security. Please make reference for deposit to account number 89401153.
