Accion's mission is to give people the finanical tools they need to improve their lives. Over time, Accion has helped build 63 microfinance institutions in 32 countries on four continents. Those institutions are currently reaching millions of clients. In the U.S., as of September 2012, the Accion U.S. Network has provided over $350 million in loans since starting operations in 1991.
