With more than four billion people, Asia is home to around 60 percent of the world's population. Accion partners with financial institutions in China, India and the Philippines – countries that have varying levels of poverty and finacial inclusion – to bring appropriate and affordable financial services to millions of entrepeneurs. Our partners are offering loans and savings accounts to individuals in urban and rural communities. Additionally, through industry training activities, Accion is raising microfinance standards and strengthening new and existing MFIs.
