Through small gatherings, events, and conferences, the Center for Financial Inclusion, along with ACCION International, connects participants to industry changemakers and thinkers on issues as diverse as investment in inclusive finance and the development of pro-consumer practices. Center-related events also serve to create awareness and enthusiasm around financial inclusion, build coalitions of effective partners to tackle industry challenges and disseminate findings on microfinance research.
The Center’s professionals regularly attend and speak at industry conferences on a range of microfinance-related issues. Topics include consumer protection, the role of public and private investors, microfinance-institution transformation, social performance monitoring, access to capital markets, product delivery channels, energy and microfinance, and more.
